With its distinguished history, the Samarkand State Medical University has been founded by the Council of People’s Commissars of the Uzbek SSR. Since it made significant strides toward becoming one of the top universities in the world. It is also known as the oldest medical university in Asia. It was founded in 1930. The Samarkand State Medical University is approved by WHO and MCI. One of the oldest and most prominent universities in Uzbekistan, Samarkand State Medical University, is a significant medical institute. It has earned the approval of the WHO and the Indian Medical Council. The institute is proud of its top-notch, cutting-edge infrastructure. At the Institute, multimedia lecture halls and classrooms are available to medical students. Students at the institute have access to a sizable library that also has computers and the internet. Moreover, e-books offer electronic copies of print books and informational content. English is the language of instruction. The cost of tuition is reasonable, and loans are an option. In addition to top-notch educational facilities, the university also provides accommodation facilities to students during their 6-year course. To be admitted, students must have passed their SSC and HSC or 10+2 from a recognized state board with specialization in Biology, Physics and Chemistry completed as high school science courses. Samarkand State Medical University offers a 6-year MBBS curriculum. The curriculum is taught by qualified and experienced staff using clinical laboratories and specialist equipment relevant to the field. The hostel offers emergency medical service 24 hours a day.
